For sure, a QMR needs to be fully active, even for cost and efficiency reasons. - but specifically in a small company this very often is not achievable. However, if you are certified, this is an absolute must, if you want to keep your certificate.
Solutions: Either you name one of your employees as QMR, which bears the risk of conflicts of interest, the problem of qualification, or we are taking over this role as external and independent QMR. In that case, your company will be visited in regular intervals, analysis will be carried out and measures for improvmements will be concluded. The measures will then be realized by your organization and verified during next visit.
